John Sharp joined the Haggai Institute team more than 21 years ago. As a Director of Advancement, he believes his work to be a calling. “At Haggai Institute, I feel like I am saving souls every day, by matching these great men and women of faith from the developing world with committed Christians in the United States who have capacity, compassion, and a global care and concern.”
A former officer in the United States Army Reserve, John has also held positions in pharmaceutical sales, business equipment sales, and sales of cost reduction/productivity plans. In addition, he worked for D.H. Dagley & Associates, a consulting firm in the area of college admissions, where he was an admissions recruiter and a director of admissions. With those years of experience, along with a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from the University of Georgia, John has the ability to “build relationships, add new donors, and communicate the intangible aspects that are so important in the Haggai Institute ministry.”
John serves in his church as a Sunday school teacher and men’s small group leader.
