Our Impact
Based on the average age at graduation, a typical Haggai Institute-trained leader will have at least two decades of impact on his or her nation.
Haggai Institute does not build hospitals or lead disaster relief efforts; however, our alumni, empowered by the training they receive, use their professions as vehicles to share the Gospel in their communities, through word and action. Their impact touches nearly every vocation and field of ministry around the globe.
Increasingly, our alumni use social networking to stay connected, turning session groups into long-term international peer support groups. Haggai Institute actively encourages and facilitates this.
Another tangible outcome of the Haggai Institute training is that in more than 105 nations, our alumni work together in alumni associations to reproduce the training at national and city levels – using their own funding.
These seminars represent a second and increasingly powerful way of delivering our expertise into language groups and levels of leadership that cannot always be accommodated in our international program.
In addition, the training program is designed for export. One trained leader can mobilize scores and perhaps hundreds of others through secondary training. In fact, we do not accept applicants unless they commit to pass their training on to at least 100 others within two years of graduation.
Along with training 100 others, our graduates commit to evangelize their nations through their spheres of influence. As a result, literally millions of people around the world have heard the message of Christ in a context they can understand – in regions that Western missionaries can no longer reach.
